Commercial Shipping
For more than 30 years Perrott Engineering has been servicing the marine industry in Cairns and PNG. This work started in the local ship yard repair facility in Cairns, and as our reputation grew we found ourselves flying to Port Moresby and Lae in PNG on a regular basis to work with the major commercial shipping lines in that country on their vessels and port support equipment.

Defense
In 2001 we won our first work for the Royal Australian Navy and our work load quickly grew from that first project on the LCH vessels. Today we carry out hydraulic service and emergency breakdown repair work on all classes of Defense vessels in Cairns as well as Border Force and Customs vessels.

Tourism
With the Cairns region being recognized worldwide as a major and growing tourism center, it is home to a large and varied tourism fleet. Perrott Engineering plays a vital role in the support of these vessels with a total hydraulic and precision engineering service.

Fishing
The fishing industry in North Queensland has suffered a decline in recent times, but we still play a vital role in the support of the remaining fleet based in Cairns.

Luxury Craft (White Boats)
Cairns is also rapidly becoming recognized around the world as an ideal location for White Boat servicing. Perrott Engineering has been involved in this very specialized type of work for many years and find that we have many repeat customers that use Cairns as their preferred service and R and R port in the Southern Hemisphere.
