Perrott Engineering’s experience in the Oil and Gas industry started in PNG in 2008 when we were called upon to carry out major hydraulic and mechanical service and repair work on oil well workover rigs in the highlands of PNG.

From these humble beginnings we have sent service personnel to oil production platforms and offshore drill rigs in PNG, Western Australian and NT waters to carry out a range of hydraulic related service work including extensive pipe work, servicing cranes and rebuilding of an Iron Roughneck.

We have also been called into the deserts of South Australia to the Moomba oil fields to carry out diagnostic and remediation work on land based oil and gas drill rigs and have become quite familiar with the special requirements of this industry.

Our design engineers and manufacturing division have also been involved in the design, DNV Certification, manufacturing and support of a number of special winches for offshore oil platforms in WA waters.
